However you should be water confident and be able to swim 25m while wearing a buoyancy aid. This is suitable for members of Scouting aged 14-18. You will learn lots of useful canoeing skill and have great fun on the water. It does not matter whether you have ever been on a paddleboard before. Give it a go!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>22 June 2025 intromediate course:<br>You have paddleboarded before and can  stand up on the board for some stretches&#8217; of time. This course will increase you existing skill level making you a more effective and efficient paddler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asgwa.co.uk\/canoeing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/12\/SUPGroup2-e1702919852616-1024x412.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165 size-full\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile border border-secondary p-3 my-4\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One-off Sessions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On demand we organise adult one off sessions, for example fairy light Girlguiding leader night paddles, or summer evening adult SUP taster sessions. If you would like a session organised for adults in Scouting or Girlguiding, please enquire and we will try to match you with a suitable instructor.
