Our adult kayak and canoe courses run for 2 days on a Saturday and Sunday of the weekend you select from 10am until 4:30pm each day.
PLEASE NOTE: THE CALENDAR SHOWS THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR COURSE, BUT YOU ARE BOOKING A 2 DAY COURSE THAT RUNS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
The courses are suitable for beginners and intermediate paddlers covering personal paddling skills, rescue skills and some leadership skills. If you are working towards a Scouting permit, this course can be used to assess your personal paddling and rescue skills. The fee of £50 includes two days of coaching, kit hire and a British Canoeing Discover or Explore Award Certificate as appropriate.
Location is at the Benjamin Perry Boathouse, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6SP. This area is within the Bristol Clean Air Zone.
Boat, paddle, buoyancy aid, helmet, cag and spray deck (for kayaking) are provided.
Please bring spare clothing (including shoes), packed lunch and a water bottle. A kettle is available to make hot drinks at lunchtime.
