Enjoy the lights of Bristol Harbour on a Canoe Night Paddle during the Bristol Light Festival!
Would any adult members of Girlguiding or Scouting (leaders, assistants, helpers or other supporting adults) be interested in a night paddle in Bristol Harbour on Monday 23rd February 2026 7pm-9pm?
We will not visit any Bristol Light Festival exhibits directly during the paddle, but we will decorate our boats with fairy lights and be an informal floating display.
Location is the at the Avon Scout And Guide Canoe Club based at the Benjamin Perry Boathouse.
Cost is £5 per person payable in cash on the night.
No previous canoe skills required. We will use tandem Canadian canoes which are very stable and we will pair novices with more experienced paddlers.
Please note that this event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if it is windy or very wet.

You will receive an email acknowledging your booking request. A few days before the event you will be added to a WhatsApp group to confirm details.
